Long COVID

Long COVID describes a range of ongoing symptoms and conditions that can last weeks, months, or years after having a SARS-CoV-2 infection.

The most commonly reported Long COVID symptoms are fatigue, brain fog, and post-exertional malaise (PEM).

Other common symptoms include:

  • Difficulty concentrating

  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Sleep problems

  • Digestive problems

  • Joint/Muscle Pain

Evidence has shown that TMS is effective in addressing the fatigue and brain fog associated with Long COVID. By using a high frequency protocol over the LDLPFC, TMS can help increase neural activity associated with the areas of the brain important for executive functioning ¹.
